International Tropical Farming Summer School (ITFSS) is an annual event organized by the Agrotechnology Department in collaboration with the International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences (IAAS) and Agrotechnology Student Association (HIMAGRO) UMY. ITFSS is a unique summer school program combining academic and student activities. The aim of this summer school is to broaden the student knowledge of emerging tropical farming, able to solve tropical farming problems in the field, a case study in the modified problem-based Learning (PBL) system. This program will run through online activities. The online activities include course lectures, virtual tours, and group discussions about sustainable tropical farming. while offline activities are designed to deepen students' knowledge of problems directly in the field.
